If it doesn't work out for you, I've got a copy that I'm willing to trade. Just let me know if you're interested

Cheers, & good luck

Stores over here carry a budget re-release copy in a DVD case (should tell you something about the documentation included). I don't know if it has the 2.5 or even the 2.03 update.

Strange it isn't available in the UK.

AFAIK the DVD case release is non-2.5 and manuals in pdf or in other words not an attractive purchase.

Thats it exactly Jema, i want the boxed vers with the manual. At a push i would take the new release (PDF, bleruuugh) but thats not available here yet.

BTW the bidding is at £8.50 for the copy available at e-bay, some guy bid £250.00 by mistake
It's good but it's not THAT good.

There is a thread on the flanker forum involving a DVD case release of Flanker 2 at the moment. The important point being, this version is the flanker 2 DEMO, not the full game.

If you see a DVD version, check the box carefully for any mention of whether it is the full version or demo. ( It might also be a good idea to make note of where you saw it, and inform someone at SSI, since there is some suspicion that the DVD demo release is unauthorised.)

FWIW, the DVD case version I mentioned is published by Ubisoft which, I gather, currently owns the SSI product line.

There are several copies around the corner from me...locally, here in Adelaide, australia.
Postage couldnt be more than $5-$10 Aus to UK...the price is $19.95 Aus...it is the DVD version with pdf manual.

What's wrong with pdf?!!..i prefer it...you can format text, arrange pages , import/export, cut/copy...etc..you cant do that with a printed manual.

email me at tnewman@mail.dodo.net.au
I'll give you the address/phone number- you can order it via credit and get it sent. It took less than 10 days last time i got something from UK.

JaMir,

At least Stockmann (Akateeminen)and Dose in Helsinki have the new DVD-case release. A few weeks ago Anttila and Stockmann had the origilnal boxed version (at reduced price)so you might very well get lucky.

Cheers,
Orangutan

Anyone got a scan of the DVD cover sleeve? I have the original in a jewel case but have alot of spare DVD cases from magazine cover disks and they are alot sturdier to cary around CD's in.

I'm not a pirate and can provide pics of my original CD and case.

It's not listed at Target media any more.

"PRETEXTS TO JUSTIFY US MILITARY INTERVENTION IN CUBA"

"3. A "Remember the Maine" incident could be arranged in several forms:

a. We could blow up a US ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba.

b. We could blow up a drone (unmanned) vessel anywhere in the Cuban waters.

... Casualty lists in US newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation.

4. We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington." (p8)

"7. Hijacking attempts against civil air and surface craft should appear to continue as harassing measures condoned by the government of Cuba.
...

8. It is possible to create an incident which will demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner enroute from the United States...

a. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered aircraft... At a designated time the duplicate would be substituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be loaded with the selected passengers all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone." (p10)
