Torchlight 2 and the Mechromancer character for Borderlands 2 so far. May pick up Wargame Air Land battle on the last day, but I don't like how the campaign battles are only for 20 minutes. May wait and hope they remove that in a patch.
All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

hehe I finally gave in and picked up LEGO Lord of the Rings for 4.99. It has the film license so all the styling, music, voices are authentic. It was worth the price just to play a Lego Elendil and Elrond hacking at Sauron and orcs in the Battle of the Last Alliance The title screen: the background animation changes with different scenes. Very pretty. While it's a fairly simple platformer with a few puzzles, and has the scary bits sanitised, it's beautifully done: the hobbits hide from the Nazgul on the road to Bree...

I wonder if Crysis finally runs well on modern computers with all of the graphics options maxed out? It does, well, I'm saying this based on my experience with my rig. I'm not sure if I maxed out Crysis 3 (maybe one slightly adjusted a notch lower somewhere) but I definitely maxed out Crysis 2 patched with DX11 and HD. I also took it to the next level and maxed out the card settings for it ("enhance game settings" in nvidia control panel). One caveat, that was in single monitor, 1920x1080. Triple monitor is definitely not smooth on my system. I used to include my system specs with my sig like the others but removed it. I thought, any system specs will look crap in due time so why bother. Crysis 2 runs better than Crysis 1 for me. Though keep in mind Crysis 1 had large maps and lots of vegetation so it is bound to run worse.

Picked up nothing. It's a statement to myself that I completely finish ALL of the steam games I purchased a year ago.

One trick is to put all the titles you are even barely interested in into your wishlist and keep popping it up now and then. Beside the name you'll see the percentage discounted... When it's at 75% or around there, I buy. No matter what. (care, some titles never drop off 50%, so... YMMV)

There is also some websites that you can Google that shows you all the games that are on sale, their lowest price ever and a graph to know how often they go in sale.
Very usefull when a game is at 33/50% off and want to know if you should wait or not

Right, sometimes you won't see a sale over 50% off...but that's because the standard price itself has dropped over time so now 50% off is only $20 instead of the $60 it was on release.
You need to pick an acceptable price and not an acceptable discount.
