My CTF-1X. Basic completed. I really like this mech. CTF-1XJust bought a CTF-4X and have only played a few rounds, but I like it so far. Slow, but lot's of Daka! I never come close to over heating, but I do run low on ammo sometimes. I might trade a heatsink for some more ammo... CTF-4X

I'd probably ditch 1 ton of the AMS ammo, possibly the whole system. The only mech I run AMS on is a stalker 5S, since it has 2 AMS systems. That's about all that really does much good. Even then I normally just have 1 ton of ammo. Some weight to play with that way. Might consider 4 ML instead of 2ML/2MPL. The range is so short on the pulses, that you miss opportunities to do damage. They do an extra point when they hit, but you might miss several chances to do damage due to the limited range. In the end, doing less damage total. Large pulse lasers however, they do have a decent range, just beyond that of a ML, so I do like using those when possible. At some point try running dual AC20's and 2ML (or 4ML, if you run less AC20 ammo). People complain about them, but it's a fun build and very effective. Malibu, I put together that 1X and have enjoyed it. Much like my Dragon and Blackjack, but with an extra ML.

I run that kind of set up on my Flame and Blackjack. Very effective. I'd drop a heatsink or two and max the armor--you need full armor on arms and torso areas. Min 30 or so on each leg. To use the case, you need the ammo in the same area, so move the ammo into the left torso. Add endo and you can really get the ammo and armor up there, plus a bit more engine. Something like this: JM6-S

What did you end up with on this last night? I was thinking you had a couple of LRMs on there after a while.

Sweet. Doesn't look like much, but each mech I run with that set of weapons has always dealt a lot of damage. I built a Jager with an ac10 and 6ML's the other day. Haven't played much with it, but seemed nice.

Victor 9B "Gunzo" 1xGauss 2xAC2 2xML XL350 1xJJ - Ballistic (higher DPS with AC10 instead of Gauss, but more heat) Victor-9BVictor 9S "Blitzkreig" 3xSRM6 1xAC20 2xML XL370 1xJJ - fast, short range striker. Surprisingly effective. Victor-9S Victor 9k "Archer" - 2xERPPC + Gauss XL350 6xJJ Victor-9K

I like it. Mixing the weapons goes against the grain, but I do that on my Misery too due to the heat BS. Can I make a suggestion? -Instead of 2 LRM10, go for 4 LRM5's. Still a 20 shot, faster cooldown, and you can open the missile doors and fire all in one pop. As it is, you'll have them firing in 2 volley's of 5 anyway since there are 5 tubes in the side pods. (There are 10 on side torsos if you want to move things around). I've got a 5S I'm running and enjoying with the 4xLRM5. The quick cooldown lets you keep a lot in the air. -I know you probably specifically want that ERPPC, but just for consideration, I moved some stuff around and swapped it for a 2nd LL. Larger engine mainly for the heatsinks, but a bit faster too. STK-5MIs a 5M just what you have? The 3F has more twist and better hardpoints. A 5S has better hardpoints, but the same twist as 5M, and 2 AMS systems.
