a new game, in the Take On series, from Bohemia Interactive.

Digital release (PC only) is set for Q3 2013 and the price is expected to be €9,99.

Looks very interesting....

Given it is part of the ARMA series, am sure some bright spark will find a way to do a merged install so we can have land battles on Mars smile

To each their own. The visuals of Take On Mars are exceptional and the terrain is derived from orbiter scans and photos - it's as close to the surface of Mars as you can get in a game. The rover dynamics and game mechanics are a bit, well, game-y, but I believe the price point is going to be pretty reasonable.

I'm waiting to see what the final product looks like, but I definitely wouldn't write it off so quickly.
