If you watched the show, please explain to me how parts of the airplane that crashed into the dome made it through the dome?

It was already inside the dome.
How difficult was that to work out?

There's a TV-show now? Thanks for the tip, I love the book!

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

From the direction of the plane, it looked to me that it was going from outside the dome to inside, but you are probably right.

It was inside and hit the inside surface. The wreckage field was designed to make you think it got all beer-canned, but the lack of wings (at least that I noticed) was a big oversight.

Thought it was amusing that they casted Dean Norris as Big Jim.

It would be funny as hell if Brian Cranston(sp?) made a brief appearance... smile

I really want to like this show, but so far feel nothing for the characters other than the sheriff.

That's because it isn't very well written or acted. The formula of "let's present some extraordinary circumstance and then populate the scenario with cliched characters who behave unconvincingly solely for the sake of melodrama" (like the psycho kid who abducts his "girlfriend") just doesn't make for good storytelling.

It is pretty dire so far. More of a soapy than a decent sci-fi show.

I take it for what it is, entertainment. And I love the redhead with the missing husband (Rachelle Lefevre) (the one Barbie killed)

Barby I believe is the proper spelling.

Anyway, it's a Stephen King story, and IIRC in most of his works the characters are there for things to happen to, as opposed to it being about them.

I'd have to say Haven is one of the rare instances where there are really good characters established from day one and there's somewhere for them to go.

The Jedi Master

I watched a few episodes when it was released but it looked predictable with nothing new. Does it have any kind of structure with a conclusion or is it stringing out season to season as long as it gets decent ratings?

It's a miniseries, so it is a contained adaptation of the book, 13 episodes.
