He does seem to get the blame for quite a few things.

Unfortunately, the 2GvSAP forums have been essentially abandoned. Nobody to take the reigns and keep the site up. Malware keeps getting past the filters and the host site shuts it down until someone fixes it.

Sad, really.

Saddened to hear that malware problems made you guys decide to abandon the forums. I understand not wanting to have to deal with it on a regular basis though.

I know there were some IL-2 mission and skin files available on the forums that can no longer be accessed by anyone. If they can still be accessed you are more than welcome to upload them at M4T so you and the other members can access them more easily. The age of the mission or skin is not an issue since most everything will still work with the current patch level.

Sorry to hear 2GvSAP has apparently lost their home hangar. May I (or the WW's) offer some assistance? I really hate to see a group such as 2GvSAP go homeless simply for lack of an administrator.

If anyone there has access to the latest database dump, the 2GvSAP forums can be rebuilt. Depends largely on how badly messed up the forums were by the 'malware' issues, of course.

As a temporary fix, I would be willing to create a '2GvSAP Home-Away-From-Home' area on the WW forums, complete with a private area that only 2GvSAP members can access. Please let me know via PM or email (wwsandman at wingwalkers dot org) if I can assist in some way.

It has been a while since I was blown to bits in the virtual skies by a WW (and that happened way too often). Miss those days of flying with/against you guys.

All of the 2GvSAP members are absolutely welcome at the WW's home field. Will require the usual registration/activation chores in order to do more than lurk on our forums, if any 2GvSAP folks aren't already registered. But once over that little hurdle I can place all your members into a group and give that group specific access to a private area that is all yours. Takes maybe ten minutes to do, with a potty break in the middle.

If you have contact info for the others, please let them know they are welcome to use the WW forums as a comms base for as long as they like.

I've been in communication with the original site owner, trying to get the admin credentials but I'm only hearing crickets myself.

Not sure if there is any correlation to the forums being down but it seems that Dart's page is down again too.
