But it was good to see Arya getting all murder-y

Technically she killed a guard escaping harrenhal in the books but this was a great scene.

I liked that scene too. I think she was putting the emphasis on "first", as in she's got plenty more men on her list. LOL

Did you notice when Tywin said the last male Stark was dead, Tyrion kind of averted his eyes. I assume he caught on that Tywin didn't know about Bran, Rickon and Jon Snow, or thought they were dead. Tyrion at least knows Jon is alive at the wall.

Arya also killed that fat kid at King's Landing too don't forget. Hence the man. Arya and the Hound is also one of my favourite subplots at the moment but, when I evaluate the others, I realise that they are all amongst my favourite subplots also.

I love this show, the characters, the writing, the titties. This is how TV should be.

Actually, I think there are too many plots and sub plots going on. I sometimes wish they would flesh out or give more time to some of them. I realize that would be difficult with the time constraints imposed on a tv series, but some characters and plots deserve their own series.

Oh, the sub plots are getting rather violently thinned out as the series progresses.

I haven't read the books, and i will not do it soon because it would ruin the series for me. I knew about the red weding, and was expecting it, but it was still shocking because Rob and Cateling were two character i liked a lot. I wanted Rob to put the "Lanister Empire" a little more to its knees. frown

Still Arya and Tyroll are my two favourite characters, so i'm glad they are still alive. Tyroll is getting me more and more worried, every "good"character is killed in this series in a very unpleasent way. frown.
Hope Arya meets again, in good terms, the assesin from season two. That was a VERY interesting seccondary character that i would like it to be explored more. It just fitted perfect with Arya character.

I was thinking Joffrey would be dead before the end of the season. I forget who the 3rd "worm" was that got burned, but I know Robb and Joffrey were in there.

Agree!

I liked how she said "Valar Morghulis" after her "kill".

Also I think the new man in Daenery's circle is one of "those", perhaps.

Or at least he's also used that phrase ("All men must die").

Haven't read the books, no spoilers please if I'm completely off base smile

The third leech was Greyjoy. Joffrey, Stark, and Greyjoy.

The slave girl from Astapor? also said Valar Morghulis. I'm starting to think it is a common old valerion(sp?) phrase.

The elitist attitude by some people who read the GoT books gets annoying. Whenever I hear "Yeah, I read them years ago and now you are just jumping on the bandwagon" I always think well, the people who read the books before them probably thought the same about you...

No doubt. But then again, I can't emphasize enough to go and read the books, because even though the HBO series is well-made, anyone with more than a superficial interest is just missing out so much.

The TV series can only ever be complementary to the books, never a substitute.

What I find amusing (and this is not meant to be snobby or in any way confrontational! I just don't get it.) is when people who have not read the books are speculating about how the story progresses - within the realm of what's already been written by Martin. Isn't that a little pointless?! I mean, there's no need to speculate, because it has already happened in the books. That's like someone who has only seen Star Wars Episode 4 speculating on what would happen in "Empire" and "ROFJ". smile

Speculating on what's going to happen beyond "A Dance with Dragons" is fine IMO, because there actually still is room for speculation (until "Winds of Winter" finally hits the shelves - which could very well be as "soon" as 2019, given George's release record). But it's highly doubtful that the producers and writers of the HBO show would change anything drastic in the upcoming seasons.

I believe they "let" her attend the wedding because they needed closure. They kind of wrote themselves into a corner (intentionally or not) by making her pregnant. Of course, the Frey's (and their puppet master, Tywinn Lannister) couldn't just let a legitimate heir to Robb Stark live, so they had to make sure they killed the baby first.

Which also seems to spell the end to the rumors from the books that surviving Jeyne Westerling (Robb's "real" wife) was carrying Robb's child. Unless they introduce that character into the show at a later date (which I doubt), with the story being that Robb and her might have had intercourse previously, but yet unseen to the audience.

Correct. But remember that for Arya, the phrase carries a different - or at least additional - connotation. Especially in combination with the coin. wink
