I always fly the Luftwaffe so this is a German to English task; there is an expression that I can never match up with the sub-titles. It 'sounds' like 'Losgeis, Agriff'. I know angriff means attack but what does the other word mean? Oh and the expression that translates as 'clear my tail'-sounds like 'hop to it ritten fry' or something...

I can't identify the "Angriff" thing, but the panicked "Clear my tail" call is "Haltet mir den Rücken frei!" (lit. "Keep my back clear!").

Guessing it's something like "Loss ghets, angriff!" which means something like "Go there, attack!" but could be closer to "Over there (as in look over there), go and attack it!" Google translates it as "There you go, attack!" which makes no sense.

Heh. Didn't think of that one.

And you're entirely correct, although the proper german spelling would be "Los geht's, Angriff!".

Los geht's means "Let's go!" -- a very rough translation. When combined with "Los geht's, Angriff!", it'd be similar to saying "Let's go, attack!" or "Here we go, attack!"

Hope that helps und viel Spaß!
