No it doesn't. India has no SU-30MKI's, only SU-30K's. Indian SU-30K's are simply renamed Russian SU-27PU two-seat trainers. They are no more capable than an SU-27 fighter. Over the next several years, they are supposed to be upgraded with new avionics and thrust vectoring engines, and will be redesignated "SU-30MKI". However this upgrade has been delayed for several years already.

In five or six years time, India will begin manufacturing SU-30MKI's on its own, which will be built to the -MKI standard from the get-go.

It's an important distinction, a huge difference in capability. An SU-30K is about equivalent to an F-15C, whereas the SU-30MKI is comparable to an F-15E (but more maneuverable).

Sorry just had to clarify that, I'm a nitpicker.

HI Yellow Sea - great work you are doing - it would be interesting to fly in a chinese plane, just to get familiar with how capable they are.

What I would really love to see is a MiG-25 or MiG-31 simulator. Could you put this into your game? Or doesn't China have any of these planes?

Nope, no MiG-25s for China (they were big when things were cold between China and USSR--the 70's) and no one but Russia has MiG-31s.

In Falcon 4.0 the Chinese have MiG-25s. Im sure they used to have them, maybe they only have 1 or 2 now that are able to be flown in combat. Do you know anything about these planes, Yellow Sea?

no reliable source can prove that. I even heard 200 MIG-31 would be manufactured in China...

It's a Tu-22M3 Backfire...what's interesting about it?
If you're referring to its markings, I can't make them out in that shot. There are occasional rumors of the PLAAF acquiring some, but so far they don't seem to have done so. This could just be a Russian one visiting.
What I do find interesting is that JH-7 partially hidden by the Backfire. So few good pics of those out there that I've seen.

Wow, I'd heard it resembled a 2-seat Jaguar, but looking at those pictures it REALLY looks like one!
It's like the same main landing gear. The Jag's was very distinctive, just like an F/A-18's is. Tail end looks more like a Flogger, though.
That pic with all the pilots walking past a flightline was the only one I had I think.

THis one, for jane's USAF. Yes ive played your sim yellow sea. Very impressed. I hope we see more sims comming out of china in the near future.

Those photo's clearly display a MiG-29 nose cone. I do wonder if they are real, though I have no particular reason to doubt they are faked.

Come on, yakkalot, they are REAL photos! JH-7 has existed for a long time...

I never said that they were fake, but whenever pictures of new chinese aircraft come out over the internet, we always have to be skeptical, you probably have no idea how many people make faked photos of existing aircraft and mix them up and say they are real. Like I said, there is no reason to believe that those are faked, but you have to always questionEVERY pic you see on the internet...

I agree. I am still confused by many J-10 photos...

Refer to te JH-7, it isn't a secret any more, it appears on the official TV and publication. And sometimes I can even see them flying above my head. So I can tell those are real photos.
