I see your cockpit shot, it is close to the original SSI's Flanker 1.x but the perspective is further away which gives better SA, reminds me of SA cockpits in F4.

Good luck with your work. I hope you very success and it is great to know sombody is working on some series flight sims as and indie.

I cannot access your files right now since I jump to this thread while in office.

Lastly, most of your image links doesn't
work.

See ya around.

Wufei,
if you can use Chinese GB code,
plesas go to my page:

http://yjck.51.net/

there are all things about my game(but words
are in Chinese GB code). The scenario is very cool! The PLA airforce fight against USAF!!!
and the E-War is the main factor that PLAF win the USAF......

Been there, done that. I like your J10 model more than J11/Su27SMK.

IMO, work harder on the flight models (I wonder what will be the flight model for J-10? cause it does not exist yet) and the 3d models themselves. I think the J-11/Su27SMK models is pale when compared to the F-15 and J10 models.

Good luck!

Wow, not bad.

I wish you luck in the future, maybe we will start seeing sims coming from China soon.

Well, you've got a talent and I hope we see some more games from you in the future

Y-S good luck with your work. I know your team is bz right now. I hope you get the upcoming sim right. Are you going to make a game like Flanker which concentrates MORE on flight and weapon models or like Falcon 4 which puts more on electronic battlefield emmersion? Don't put the goal too high first. Just make it right.

BTW, I have seen an IDF sim from our Taiwan brothers, but it was a....

Lastly, I really want to put my hands on a J-10!

Next time, CAF should use J11£¨SU27£© to drive out the EP-3!

Yeah, maybe the Su-27 will be fast enough to dodge the "ramming attack" of the slow, lumbering EP-3, because the J-8 was apparently not able to. Whatever. I would put up the little "rolling eyes" face, but I don't know how to.

I was just reading the latest (and last) issue of WAPJ and the featured plane was the P-3. Here are some interesting quotes, seeing as this was written end of last year:
Quote:

"Navy authorities are known to transfer unique assets into a region as needed to monitor special circumstances. Unfortunately, leaving aircraft in theater means they are consuming service life at a much accelerated pace. This is problematic not only for the obvious reasons of the faster consumption of fleet aircraft fatigue life, but more importantly because these aircraft are typically the most advanced deployed...the Aries II Orions face the same fate..."

Quote:
"From 1963, three P-3As (149669,149673, and 149678) were converted (two by E-Systems) for covert recon duties. The 'black' Orions were flown by the CIA, principally from Taiwan, on a variety of recon missions over and around China. As well as a plethora of intel-gathering equipment, the aircraft were also fitted with Sidewinder rails, and rumors abound that one Orion actually scored a kill over a Chinese MiG."

--italics mine
There are photos of both the 'black' P-3As and other P-3s with AIM-9s, although they aren't used operationally...officially. One CIA P-3 was converted to the EP-3A and led to the creation of the EP fleet.
