Like I said there is no comparison its apples and oranges.
if you look back at f1 and compare qualifying results and race results it does not always end up the same.
most of the pass done in nascar is due to drafting.
they don't pass at wadkins glen or sears point.
Too bad what happened today at daytona though it is always sad when a race driver dies.

You must not watch the road tracks then? At the Glen some of the best passing is done right before the start finish line.

Like I said before, not a huge NASCAR fan but when someone as great as Earnhart passes on, it effects the whole racing community. You can definately compare him to Jordon of basketball and T Woods of golf. Take both of those guys out of the sport and it's not the same.
