Judging by what the SSI press release says, am I correct to assume that there will be no Flanker: Attack?

"This will be the last stage of the Flanker 2.0 series, patches included. It is time now to invest in the future and concentrate all resources in our next flight sim project, which we are very excited about and we believe most of you will be as well. We will be providing additional details on our next title in the next few weeks."

Does this mean that that flight sim announced will not be the Su-39/A-10 simulation Flanker: Attack, since that title was announced some time ago?

No. There WILL be a flight simulation product after Flanker 2.5 that will include the Su-39 and A-10, amoung several other aircraft. It will not however be called Flanker Attack.

We'll be making some formal annoucements about this title in the coming weeks.

Matt, are you using the same source code as a basis for your new product? If not it would be a nice idea to make it public. Would be great to have an eRAZOR-patch for F2.5!

The next game will use the Flanker 2.xx code as a starting point and heavily modify it from there. We plan on including all the content of the Flanker series in the next game, plus much, much more.

Hey Matt, I have read some posts that this game does not work well w/ the Logitech FF stick. IS this true and if so will the new game fix this?

FA looks sweeter and sweeter with every passing day.

But i think it is up to us F2 fans to prosletyse like apostles and tell everyone how much FA will rock. Come on, how can it not? Su-27, Su-33, MiG-29, Su-25, Su-39, A-10 and some F-series fighter or other? Beautiful aircraft, beautiful graphics, beautiful FMs...?
