Still don't have posting rights on Steelbeast.com so hopefully someone here can help.

I've forwarded my ports and have confirmed they are open but I can't see any servers. Do I have to know the ip of the host server or does this thing search for servers or a master server? The manual says I need to know the host ip but I don't see anyone posting IP's for their games so I'm a little confused.

Thanks

hi piiman, yeah you need to directly connect to a hosts ip. There are plenty games going on each week with a number of virtual units around the globe doing different things on different nights. steelbeasts.com is the place to go for more info and to get details on the teamspeak server most units use. IP's are generally given out as units form up in teamspeak.

oh thanks hoggy I only saw teamspeak ip's so was wondering if that was where they gave them out. Would be great if eSims updated their multi to a little more modern version. But hey it is what it is. I have some learning to do first anyways

Thanks

One of the quickest way to learn is to get in on the multiplayer, if you are in the friday nights always has a big game with all players welcome. sunday and wednesday are UK armour nights (although we are a pretty international bunch and welcome all) and monday nights are the Soviet VU training nights so if learning to manuvre mass formations of T-72's and BMP's is your thing.

That is just a small example of stuff that is going on the Uk armour and Soviet VU missions kick off at around 8pm(UK time) and i think the friday night games are a little more USA time friendly.

seriously just jump onto the teamspeak at those times and see whats going on

Don't forget the Australian / New Zealand bunch at 0900 GMT on Thursdays (1900 local).

Just to give people an idea of the "global" options.

I suppose the matter has been solved, but if you don't receive a confirmation email within a minute or two, something's wrong and you should send an email to the webmaster (at) steelbeasts.com - or maybe check an eventual spam filter.

I think raised this topic on the SB site earlier and it has indeed now been resolved.
