Honestly though, I have never really explored this game. I know some people that played it early on but thats about it.

AFAIK, it;s been extended server maintenance since the launch..

You can download the patch and boot the updated game, but I was sitting at the login screen for hours, cuz the servers were down for maintenance

The ship battles are fun, but the land based missions are repetitive and always seem to go on too long.

im gonna have to spend some time looking at all the new traits for the character traits system...

Unfortunately no. I have been out of STO for some time now. I found it very repititive.

Random question on this: I played STO for maybe a week when it first came out, but quit fairly quickly after seeing that the Klingons had essentially no content or equality with Federation players (a friend and I were hoping to do some global PvP action). Except for scripted, staged "arena" battles though in which the Klingons were utterly worthles due to the lack of missions to level from, we were forced to jump ship pretty quick on the game. Can anyone tell me if this issue has been fleshed out at all?

Klingons now start at level 1 and apparently have content similar to Romulans and Federation for leveling, or so it appears from the forums as I do not play Klingon. Generally Klingon players appear to be for the most part happy with the expansion.

i use my klingon for marauding stuff, particle traces etc, and getting Dilithium to send to my Federation characters.

Another Patch tomorrow, Another Fleet Station, we dont even have decent participation in the base, and now it's Fleet Base, Embassy and Dilithium Mine

hopefully the assignments on dilithium mine give me Dilithium, to use on the Fleet base, lol.

Cuz everything else i have plenty of, But i can keep PayPaling for $50 of Zen, Just to convert to Dilithium all the time (i havent done that since prolly midway through Tier 2.


There's been a ton of glitches for me the last few weeks Im not happy about.

A. I withdrew my 500K EC from Account bank, and it's gone missing, not on any of my characters.
B. I was awarded about 120 FleetMarks for one of the PvE Action Missions, 20 minutes later Server Crashed, logged in, no Fleet Marks under my inventory.

I got 4 characters total (2 Human/FED, 1 Klingon/KDF, and 1 Romulan/FED)

I use my main character for everything, Except I've hit a wall in crafting, cuz I refuse to pay $40 worth of Dilithium to make one Rare Beam Array Mk XI.

the other characters I just use for DoFF Assignments and particle traces etc.

I should prolly stop doing DoFFs, and start converting my white/Green ones to BLUE/PURPlE DoFFs, better returns and quicker Leveling up.

Hey, how do you send dilithium from one character to another?

I sent you a pm on how to do it Beans. That way, if you forget in the future, you don't have to hunt around for this thread. Forgot to mention, characters have to be on the same account for the transfer to work.

Goto the Exchange, and submit a offer with a crazy per-dilitium amount so it stays in queue, change characters and cancer the offer, retrieve.



So if its like 124, 125, 126, 127 Dilitium per zen, make an offer to do like 50-100 Dilitium per zen, so it stays queued up in the exchange.

Lots of Bugs Since Romulans were added:

Several Fed Missions are broken,

Installation 18 for example,. and if you skip it, you also get stuck on the cover of night mission, the AI NPCs Get stuck in a Loop and the mission doesnt progress.

Several time I've been unable to Pickup drops, even with an empty Inventory, I get a drop with two items, I choose the top one, and it gives me the opposite, and then the other item is stuck, several times' i've had decent space gear dropped unable to pick it up.

Several days in a row now, I'll Login, work the Auction House, make about 500K, get back to 2 Mill EC on each character, log back in the next day to find them both back at the exact same number they were the day before I started working, so everytime I log in, Im back at 1,123,036 EC, whatever EC I Make isnt saved at all, My guess is it goes the same place my 500K I withdrew from my Bank went....

No one has logged into my character, so I wasnt hijacked.

I am still playing once in a while, trying to add my meager bit to the fleet. Maybe we need to recruit some people to help out.

I think getting the Dilithium Mine up might be beneficial as we'll have a source of dilithium.

Ok I'll start putting everything into the mine. Use the message of the day to direct everyone to work that project.

They fixed the Story missions, finally.

Yeah, I think the mine will help... once it's to teir 3 or whatever, it will open up daily mining missions and stuff.

The Embassy is a waste, its basically remote access to Mail and crap..

At least The Starbase gets Duty officers at Tier 2...

we have a decent sized roster, my klingon character was in a fleet of 20 players and they were tier 5.. but they all played ALOT.

I finished off one of the mine missions. Should be closed any time now if you want to add the next mission you want us to work. I'll keep doing fleet marks missions to save them up.

Projects added, all they need is Fleet Marks (Except the special, that requires like 200K Dilithium...blah)

Yeah I don't care if our mine has windows or a DJ or whatever. I'll keep working the regular missions for us.

Who is in charge of our fleet? Can they send out a message to the members to start working the mine missions? Maybe recruit some too.

No Idea who... I'll see If i have permissions to do that.

Holy smokes your crew must be a bunch of addicts! Lol.

I was just running DoFF Assignments all the time, and stockpiled them all from my other 3 characters to my main, since only my Main Character has the Bank slots unlocked due to paid sub.

I also stockpile all my particles on that character too, I can Fab level VII/VIII crap, anything above that is a waste due to the "unreplicable particles" they introduced.

I think Fleet Base/Embassy/Mine Levels unlock MK XI/XII Gear/Kits in your Base/Embassy/Mine NPC Vendors.

I'm working on some of the reputation missions right now so I can build up dilithium again. I think we need some crewmembers for the current active mining missions.

Dear God some of these people in the Borg STF missions must be mentally challenged. There is a pretty standard way to attack in those missions and these people can't figure out why they are getting creamed and basically wasting everyones time.
