Told myself I'd get a Yen Lo when they went on sale, but now I'm not as excited about it. We'll see.

Wouldn't it be awesome to run as a Yen-Lo lance?

That's what I'm talking about.

Then again, the Yen-Lo is why I bought MC in the first place, and will probably be the only Hero Mech I buy, so maybe I'm biased.

Hehe lol we were just talking about the Yen-Lo going on sale and as usual I was 100% wrong with my guess that we wouldn't see that for a while biggrin

I guess I will have to investigate whether the X-5 is worth it or not and check out those colors that went on sale for 250MC.

YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' 'BOUT!

I was going to buy the wang on monday but I think AZ suggested I wait to see what went on sale this week. A lance of wang's...called a 'Sausage Party'.

Ok dammit, I got one. Came from the Misery fund, but that thing will have to wait for a sale of it's own anyway.
Changed it up a bit. Better heat, a little faster and a tad more firepower and ammo.

Oooh, don't know if I'd go putting an XL in the Centurion. Centurions can be unbelievably annoying with standard engines, as they still have the central weapons to keep harassing with.

My yen lo is just the AC20, Large Laser in the chest. That way when I enevitably get zombified, I still have a large laser to weild. But that's just my personal play style.

I had the same fear but I have been having a lot of success with my AL with an 260XL. By placing the 300 in there I can get to 90'ish kph(before tweak) which helps spread out damage. Its definitely a tradeoff and one that has bitten me a few times but for me the speed is worth it.

My AL has an XL in it, I think it does 90. I get killed in it all the time, but I think that's more pilot error. I'm just not good at the boom and zoom in the fast mechs.
Had a decent round in the YLW last night, but I've got a long way to go to get decent with it. However, now I can get an A and get the perks unlocked. These things all run very different fully functional.

The key to mediums I have found is constant movement, randomness, and never, ever be out front. Being behind front lines is ok, but you never want to be noticed, ever. Mediums are light Calvary. Probe the edges, strike the back, choose the weakest opponent, and always move.

I have also found that when in trouble maintain your speed and turn. If you try and stop and backup like your assaults, your dead.

Last night was definitely wang-tastic. I felt like the odd one out in my Flamer...

Hmmm.. something doesn't quite sound right about that. My Flame should have felt right at home with all the Wangs, not that there is anything wrong with that.

That was pretty damn cool last night. The dragon/YLW lance definitely kicked ass. Not sure I'd fare well in it playing solo, but they're definitely effective in a group.
Doesn't replace the Stalker as my favorite, but the atlas and catapult may have been bumped down the list.

The Flame has been my favourite mech for a while, definitely have the most time in it.

Running a fast Flame, 350XL, topping out at 103.9km/h. Last night I was running quad large lasers, was a bit hot, but ok once I got used to taking it a bit easy on the trigger. Other builds I have done with it are 2xPPC's and SRM's.

I really like it, and went back to it last night after working on levelling my hunchies for the last week or so.

I'm also a fan of the flame. I run a 340xl in it with quad lasers. A lot of fun.
