Might as well update with my current favorite Stalker 5S build: STK-5S6xML 4xLRM5, 5 tons of ammo Engine: STD 310 for 65 KPH Heat: 1.32 Armor: 480 Alpha: 50, whatever that's worth with LRM's and ML's LOL Fast cooldown on the missiles for good firing rate, low heat. 6 ML's are nothing to sneeze at up close.

Update on my 2xAC10, 2xML Cat K2. Heat is 1.27, but firing the AC10's together, then pairing the upper ML's and the lower in a 3rd group, it just does extremely good with heat. Having very good results with it, just don't push it in close too long due to the XL. Deals nice accurate damage though, decent ammo and still does 20 pts damage after the ammo runs out with the MLs. Here is the Jaeger build I was running last night... JM6-S2 lbx10 (6 tons ammo) 4 mlas 300xl (82 kph w/ tweak) Very first shot from this mech kill Clydewinder. At that point I knew I had something. It is a decent all around mech but shines against mechs with armor damage. Lbx has a crit bonus. S

Here's a really good HBK-4P build I've stumbled into when I finally decided to elite my Founder's Hunchie, it turns out the 4P I bought to help do that has become one of my favorite mechs with a ghost-heat modified Swayback config: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=2&l=5876401365e0a5353ce98ac34ec3d2ea32d771ea STD275 7xML Endo 19 DHS Been using it the last few days with two fire groups, one with the 4xML in the torso, and one with 3xML in the arms/head which swivel, and I just alternate the two fire groups with a slight delay to avoid ghost heat, with the new increased torso twist in the Hunchie you can shoot Jenners and Spiders that chase you, and this really packs alot of damage 200-400avg rounds with a couple of 800-900 lucky rounds. Also with SpeedTweak it runs at 98kph. You can substitute one or two ML for DHS depending on how hot you are comfortable running it, for me 7 seems to be perfect balance to rarely overheat even in a furball, but if you are more disciplined the 9xML config packs even more punch.

Updated Misery build, finally got one I like. After a lot of rebuilds, I settled back on the 4xLL, but with the shotty to finish them off. MISERY

It is a decent all around mech but shines against mechs with armor damage. Lbx has a crit bonus. S After Feet's success the other night with crazy damage, I figured I had to give this a shot. I didn't want to tear down my Jager, so I put it on a K2. Still soft in the CT & cockpit, being a catapult so probably not as effective, but it still did a ton of damage. Had a good time with it, so I'll probably be running this build on my K2 for quite a while. I had dual AC10's at one point with 4xML, but this seems more effective since the heat is better so more ML firing and that crit bonus.

I like that build, Brennus. It's refreshing to see a CTF-3D that's not just configured as a sniper.

Fun to watch! I think I prefer the 3D over the Ilya though, only 'cuz it gives me the vertical option. I also sacrifice more armor in favor of tonnage for ammo. He ran out of ammo rather quickly in the second battle, but he was also runnin' 3 LB's opposed to just 2. The only real difference in his load-out, as compared to mine, is his third LB, where as I run w/ 4 MED's and 2 LB's. Still, very effective up close, and as he said, just straight up fun to run!

That's a good build. I've got one similar on a 5M, but instead of 2 LRM10's, I went with 4 LRM5's. Same amount of missiles in the air, but you fire noticeably faster. A bit more heat though.

A fun FIREBRAND 2xLB10X 2xERLL build... The high 2xERLL in the arms makes nice sniping in the initial standoff engagement, and then the 2xLB10x are good for crits cleanup and legging lights that come in close.

I love the ctf.
I run 2x,3d,and 4x
My 4x used to be 2xlbx, 2x med pulse, 2x machine guns but I have just changed him out for 2xac5 and 2x ac2 full fibre ferrous armour and bigger engine.
The lbx has a surprisingly very long range.
