The TGP fix is VERY worth it. Finally the ground objects are slowly becoming visible from 25 miles, not popping in at 15. Great work.

But the wind shears still persists, at least in the takeoff TE. It makes a routine landing a carrier-like, lol.

I'm getting vehicle contacts from 30nm out, with it becoming clearer at 27nm. Instead of "popping out" like they used to do, they now "emerge from the haze" which is better. Same for buildings... I hated not having anything... and then VIOLA, they just pop out in clear detail. Grr!

After struggling with trying to catch ground contacts at engagement distance, I can't wait to test the TGP "deaggritron" feature.

I know I should probably ask over at the BMS forums, but I figure why not since I'm already here reading this thread haha. Any chance they will have just a fully updated installer so I don't have to grab and install all 5 updates? Just reformatted the hard drive frown

In deference of lazy people, their update process is pretty convoluted....

When your update process requires a pretty thorough how-to, that equals convoluted in my book.

Make sure you update that thread with the latest full installer.

Also a warning. do NOT overwrite new stuff with old backups, mainly the User/Config folder. There's some new stuff in falcon bms.cfg file, so only copy your personal files (.lbk,...) and .key files.

Oh absolutely! IIRC event the BMS devs admitted to this when Update 2 and 3 came out.

I could.... Update 5 should follow just the same steps as Updates 1-4, so if anyone were to go to Update 5, it shouldn't be a problem.
