Mapledurham is a village outside Reading in Berkshire in the UK perhaps most famous as the setting for The Eagle Has Landed movie.

This year they organised an event for the first time as per the title. As I live about 5 minutes away I had to go and took my Jeep for its second public appearance.
Only a small event but they put on a great show and the village is a perfect setting, with a very period feel.
You can see an SDKZ 222 which is, believe it or not a replica built on a Landrover 110 chassis, and sold to the current owner by the Police ! (It was seized by them from somebody who was clearly a bit of a wrong un')
My Jeep in front of the water Mill where Michael Caine met his maker in the movie.
A couple of M8's !
and a small convoy that went for a little drive round the area.

All in all great and friendly little show.
