That would be a Suncom F15 Throttle Quadrant/CH Products ProThrottle Combo!

Glorious!

As you know all too well, I want a Suncom SFS Throttle with a USB interface and the power of the Control Manager backing it. I even gathered most of the needed parts together (the SFS Throttle itself, and a CH Eclipse Yoke for its controller board)...just need to mod the throttle myself, or find someone who can.

I know my proposed mods with the analog mini-stick for slew control, an actual antenna elevation rotary, and perhaps replacing the speedbrake switch on the side with a hat switch (since the A-10C's mic switch is a 4-way hat instead of a 2-way rocker/slider) complicate the job significantly, but it'll make for a more functional throttle in the end, something that would give the HOTAS Warthog throttle a run for its money.

Wow that's cool ghost, but I'd bet that's too hard for me to do. That's a pity because I'd love something like that. Perhaps CH could pull their finger out and make one?

Using the X and Y axis of the mini joystick for the left and right throttle is fun. Had to come up with some interesting calibration techinques to get them to work. Re mapping the switches has been fun. Re assigning the axes in CM for them to work in-game, fun too. In the end though, it'll all be worth it.

Ghost,

Nice work. I am curious why choose use (small)CH box instead Suncom box that have more
room and and maybe allows install these two way switch's inside - perhaps without covers.

Is for maintain some "CH" look? smile

Using the Suncom POTs was out of the question. They're crap. I used two of the CH Products Throttle Quadrant POTs. They have a wider throw than the PT and or the FS POTs. With the Suncom base, I couldn't do that. With the ProThrottle base, I was able to mount the TQ POTs to the top of the inside of the PT base. I also needed/wanted to keep the same foot print in my pit.
