Here are screenshots from yesterdays's ARMA 2 action. Yes, we're still playing that. Come join us.

Here are some screens from the campaign mission on Lingor.

Here are some screens from another mission.

Lingor definitely reminds me of Ghost Recon Island Thunder.

A3 has gotten all of the attention, but I think A2 still holds its own as a mature product. Including graphically...

I think ArmA II looks great. In my opinion, some aspects look better than ArmA III.

I just got the Full pack yesterday from a friend gifting it to me on Steam...really enjoying it so far.Still a complete noob at it though.

Have not tried online yet with the main game but have been messing around with DayZ and loving it.

People who think they know everything are very annoying to those of us who do.

I have followed you guys playing this for at least a year now. If I wanted to join in on this, could someone point me in the direction of what I need? I have Arma II with all addons and expansions. Thanks in advance. Also, the shots above look amazing! Would love to get in on some MP action with people who want to do it in a realistic fashion.

Absolutely! Everybody here was incredibly helpful when I first started, so I'd be happy to do my best in showing you the ropes. I'm still green myself, definitely no expert; but I can at least help to get you moving smoothly in your fireteam, and able to point your gun in the right direction!

You'll need to get Arma 2 and and Operation Arrowhead, collectively known as Combined Arms. You'll also need to download the A.C.E and O.N.E Mods from the sticky in the Arma forum, as well as the 7 terrains that the server runs. Once you've got everything installed and running, or if you need any help doing so, shoot me a PM and we'll get something going one evening!

To get the mods working smoothly I'd HIGHLY recommend downloading and using the ArmA 2 Launcher. It makes adding mods and launching the game in the correct way VERY easy. At least it did for me as a Steam user!
