Now this... Is quite impressive. I don't even have half of these.

Thanks Skater!

To be honest, it's my opinion that being a good "stick wiggler" isn't enough in this sim to score well---being a good shot is equally important.

I've managed to down five enemy aircraft with "full real" settings flying both German aircraft like the Pfalz DIII/DXII, Alb D-III/D-V and English/French aircraft like the SE-5 and Nieuport 28. The only way to do this, especially with the SE-5 and N28 is to be very careful with your aim-ya ain't got alotta boolets ta shoot!!! biggrin

I've been shooting since I was 10 and shot pistols, rifles and most particularly, shotguns competatively. I shoot skeet and sporting clays regularly and its these two "games" that have been the most beneficial as it's all about learning how to lead a moving target that is the key benefit. The ability to make a greater than 90 degree deflection shot in a diving pass and put at least a couple of rounds through the engine or fuel tank, makes a huge impact on your score in the long run. It keeps you from getting hit and it saves a bunch of ammo!

I usually fly solo which also makes things easier for me because I don't have to worry about my wingmen "stealing" a kill after I've put a serious hurt on an enemy aircraft. If I see I've hit a plane pretty hard, I move on to the next available target-even if the plane's still "flying". If I see radiator, engine oil or fuel vapor coming from my target and it's descending below the fight, I know it won't be long and it'll be making a dead-stick landing and I'll get credited with the "kill" as long as the engine quits before it lands. I do manage to set quite a few of them on fire fairly quickly which naturally ends that battle instantly...

It's simple just do what Trooper says. You won't have any trouble. Once you have a user account activated just login and all appropriate content will be unlocked.

Jason, the reinstall worked, thank you. However, I am still missing the RE8 from my aircraft listing, and I still have an entry on the award screen listed as "0" with no accompanying info. I may also be missing other aircraft I purchased... I will do a full inventory compare tonight.

The 'O' award has been a problem for some time, since several updates ago.
I and many others have asked 777 direct, but as yet it hasn't been explained.

Interesting... It's been there for a very long time for me. At least 2 years. I still can't figure out why my RE8 does not populate though.

I hate to say but the email support stinks with 777. I've never received any response to my problem when contacting them through the email provided by them. Others may have had luck, but none on my end. Because of the lack of support, they lost out on a sale for two accounts where I was going to buy the remaining planes for gifts, along with the new maps. Only company I've dealt with that has ignored support requests, especially when it comes to a problem with purchasing items.

That doesn't sound anything like 777. What e-mail address have you been sending messages to?

Show me the emails please. When you sent them and the content. If they went to any other email address than rof at 777studios.net then you are not guaranteed a response. There have been instances when someone has written us and we responded, only to be blocked by the users firewall or anti-spam filter. Then they accuse us of ignoring them, but it wasn't true. Weird things happen in cyberspace sometimes. We don't ignore our customers, especially if they have a problem making a purchase. Viks is good about responding to issues like that.

I tried to send you a PM about it but your box here is and has been full and doesn't accept them. My email I sent was to rof@777studios.net. Sent it January 4th @ 11:24 PM. I can forward it to another address if you wish.

Thank you for responding to my post. I truly appreciate it.

Have to say, we were told on the RoF forums to report the problems with the award system with the 'St Miheil' campaign.. not recieved any response, and I know others have done the same.
Also, many people have reported the presence of the '0' award.. what is it? is it a bug? etc.. still no response. All sent to the above email address.
Even an email saying ''sorry, we have no idea what this is'' would be better than nothing, lol!
But on the plus side, several times I have sent other emails direct to RoF and got a pretty much immediate response smile
