Hi. Thanks for posting this up. Yes, there are higher reward tiers to do this, or you can use the early reward upgrades if you just want the sim and testing, without all the other "stuff", to keep the price down.
Thanks for your support! I'll be around to answer questions if anyone has any.
Cheers...

A table? How about a combined line and bar graph with a breakout pie chart and spreadsheet amortized over the next 4 quarters???!?! That would ROCK!!!!!

I did in fact JUST add a reward chart to make each reward easier to decipher. Really not my fault here--Kickstarter has absolutely no formatting on the reward text--it just sort of crams it all together... This should be easier to understand

Spread the news! Kickstarter link Took the 25$ for now, but will upgrade later for sure(probably take the whole ''participate in alpha/beta'' once I find how .) EDIT: just found how, now I'm at 65$ So what did you do to upgrade? Did you go into "manage pledge" and just type in 65.00 in the top line?

Yes, you have to manually adjust the pledge amount. For example, if you want the $20 reward, but want to add Open and closed beta, which is $20, you'd select the $20 reward but manually change the pledge amount to $40. If we're successful I'll see the increase and send a survey to make sure that's the option you wanted to add. Hope that's a bit clearer now

I'd have put it up for two months liek Elite did..you really need alot more publicity mate to hit the 300K.
Also voice acting and cut scenes as stretch goals? Both in my opinion aren't needed and a waste of funds. Also have you priced this sort of thing up properly..I could imagine that alone eating up all the money.
Surely better stretch goals would have been the first and second EModules or something...or more ships even.

Kickstarter is more than capable of generating that within that time frame. Regardless, it is what it is now Yup, I did a lot of research on various costs of each element in every stretch goal. Obviously I can't go looking for high profile actors and such using the example of the voice acting, but there is good talent to be found in that price range. If I wanted to be unrealistic I'd add EM's to the stretch goals, but a full team would have difficulty putting all the elements together for the Core Module that the stretch goals cover ALONG WITH everything that would be needed for, say, freeform trading and exploring and everything that entails with regards to assets and programming. (And, actually, I believe the 500K stretch goal includes two more ships to fly--think that's the one). It's an uphill battle to be sure. But if it succeeds it will do it honestly without promising things that can't be delivered. And, if that causes it to fail, then so be it. I'm not going to lie though...

New video out--no music or any of that jazz. Just me talking through a manual start-up sequence and discussing some of the core systems. This is the first of a series of 3. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nohF6uLkvvQAn important note is that I discuss how one system, the SOI allows you to focus the sim to your tastes...

awesome...really really cool ... Have already seen 2 or 3 things never done before in a space sim in that one vid.
It's already so atmospheric (speaking of, did I even see particle smoke from the damaged left window monitor?...and flickering on the EFD?)
cannot wait.. Yes. When a system shorts out there are proper effects. The EFD flickers on its own with damage--probably just saw a variation due to the flickering monitor behind it. Cheers

That's fair enough--thanks for your interest at least. You'll see for yourself in the 3rd vid, but taking off is actually not a dramatic affair. From a civilian station there's no need to get slung out into space at incredible speeds. Your ship and it are both moving in tandem--it's very much like the space shuttle (well, no LONGER ) departing the ISS. Just a few thruster bursts and you're on your way. Once you clear the hangar then you can get moving. Now, from a military ship I could see the usefulness of having a launch corridor so you could get up a bit of "speed" so as not to be a sitting duck when you enter open space. But again, we'd be talking about a quick burn just to get a bit of momentum. Now DOCKING on the other hand, that's a bit trickier. I'll probably put together another small series after this demoing that... And, you'd have to ask NEO, but I believe it has something to do with it is whatever you make it to be
