When I fly my trusty SE-5 I usually end up with score totals in the 800 range.

When I fly my equally trusty Pfalz DXII, downing the same number of enemy aircraft, I end up with a score of 4 or 5....

What's the difference in the scoring numbers????? duh

Your SE5 crew chief multiplies everything by 100 because he likes you?

Entertaining responses cheers but in case some are confused, I'm reporting an actual occurrence.

I can't for the life of me figure out why I get such high scores in the SE5 and only get a score in the DXII that reflects the actual number of aircraft or balloons I destroy...

Also, does anyone know if a pilots score based on other pilots flying the B campaign mode is actually updated? These are the scores that show up on the bottom half of the screen that shows the unit scores. I'm curious because I'm shown as number 1 on the SE-5 screen and number 11 on the DXII screen.

Are these numbers actually based on everyone that's flying the campaigns on line???

Oh, this is in beta career? There is a bug where some careers will have their scores multiplied, which is probably what is happening. If you started another SE5a career, you probably would only get one point per kil.

Maybe, different difficulty settings between the 2 careers?

Nope, everything is set to "FULL REAL" except for the visibility stuff in the upper left corner. I'm 60 and don't see as well as I used to and besides, I want to shoot down the "enemy' and not wander around looking for them!!!! biggrin

Oh, and yeah, it's the beta career....
