New next week from me, two new PvP missions inspired by a mission idea I stole from one of Taosenai's last Military Monday.

Double Trouble:
Up to 21 players PvP, 10 German, 10 Russian, and 1 US. 30 minutes. NO RESPAWNS.

An exposed double agent disguised as a US soldier is hiding in an abandoned farm. Each side team is tasked to find and eliminate the spy, but be warned he is armed with anti-personnel mines and satchels to booby trap his hiding place.

Recon Down:
Up to 20 players PvP, 10 German, 10 Russian. 20 minutes. NO RESPAWNS.

A German recon aircraft has crash landed in a field short of it's runway. The crew escaped to safety, but the intel remains with the wreck. Each side races to capture/destroy the wreckage before the other. Randomized wreckage placement.

Dont think of it as being vastly outnumbered ... but just having a large target selection.

The only thing more accurate than incoming fire, is incoming friendly fire

Also a new mission today from Saghen, thanks! smile

Plus Tigerwulf has ported his Satchel Fight mission to non-DLC materials, to get past the US units respawning at the wrong side. (BTW... the US respawn problems appear to be a bug in the DLC).

I've been playing football with some guys on Saturdays but we are playing an hour earlier today so I should actually make it today in time to play.

Look forward to it.

Is there a special 'way' to detect booby traps?

You just have to look with your eyes for the pegged out grenade, along with it's wire and stake. Not easy to see, and slows down the action. But it does increase the tension.

I'm not sure how it'll play out, but it's worth a try.

Really nice session. The night time slog through the hedgerows on Tiger's mission was pretty tense with the enemy just feet away!
