Plus the bullet flight time is double.
While the SRP is calculating the firing solution assuming straight target path, our targets are usually turning.
They have time to turn away further from the calculated impact point, as the Tu is longer.

Hello Hpasp
I just want to say thank you for sharing with us for free your Sam Simulator.

As someone who grew-up during the cold-war i was always fascinated with soviet military hardware:-)
And now we can learn how to operate them....

My first simulator was Su-27 Flanker (release in 1995) and even if the graphics were not really good i always though that the Sam were fairly realistic in that game even more so than in Flanker2.0 its follow up in 2000.

Here is a description the Shilka in the Su-27 Flanker manual ,is this still acurate?

I know that its just a game but here is the Shilka in Su-27 Flanker (version 1.2) in this game if you fly at an altitude over 1500m it can track you but cannot shoot at you accurately:

Hello Hornet1a,

Welcome between the SAM troops!

Not really.
It has Pulse-Doppler radar, instead of Continuous-Wave.
(During the Cold-War, only SA-5, SA-6, and the SA-10 used CW radar, all the rest is Pulsed)

The Cold-War era Shilka had no IR sight, just optical.

Can I make the video playing.

The Target is not, only the land visible Reflection.

I don't even know, I will still try.

An example of "Hungary" Yes there is visible Target seen but not seen a Meteor.

Pity that in Practice you can't shoot, Hungary could have the Volkhov Dvina and do a simulation.

Great video, I liked it very much.

I'm probably not up there was looking for a purpose I was looking at 40 degrees, and you're in another place altogether.

How have you determined the goal itself where I haven't really figured on a map where to look.

How to distinguish it from the ground.

hpasp... why around the tracking scope we have some numbers like By (Beta-u) instruments ?
why they do not use from normal azimuth degrees numbers ? confused

Angular mil is preferred by the ground (artillery) forces, over the azimuth degree.
Read it why:

The MG25 fuse is quite a complex design...

here some shilkas bullets wacky

Great Video.

Some comments...
1, You use the autonomous target acquisition method (just mentioned in the documentation), instead of the sector target search, where the approx azimuth of the target is known.
(37-00 in case of Drégelypalánk)

2, The ZU lamp indicates if the target is killed. You keep spraying bullets long after the Meteor-1 is disintegrated.
biggrin
