Yep, remove all the screws from the bottom of the throttle unit to open.

know any fixes for a loose handle? By that I mean put it at about 75% and the handle falls to 100 % The adjustment knob makes it slightly better but still does not hole the position toy leave it at.
Thanks,

Check the rubber pad thath keep the throttle arm in position. You have to take apart the throttle here look for stction fix.

There is a friction control wheel that juts out at the "back" of the throttle base unit, back being the side that is facing the user. If you open the throttle assembly, that wheel is connected to an angled piece of metal that sits on top of the throttle (top being what the top would be when the throttle is upright --- you have to turn the unit upside down to open it). This metal bit would have a black curved plastic piece on it and the pressure applied by the metal lever on that plastic would control the friction... with me so far?

A quick mod would be to wrap that plastic bit with a bit of tape to "fatten" it up a bit and thus increase the friction/pressure exerted on the throttle.

Hope that helps!

I checked with Thrustmaster and they will replace both Gimbals for 25$, plus shipping, I assume.
I am also asking them about a replacement rubber strip for the throttle.
Does anyone know if the modified Gimbals ( other than the FSSB mod ) are still available and if so where and for approximately how much?

UberNXT2? Not sure, there was word of someone restarting a while back, I think. Best to check viperpits.org, I guess.
