Thanks - it's a 'phase' thing, though, now and then it's bad, other times not so much

I chewed some extra opiates with my dinner so that I could have a proper go this evening

I was very surprised at the results. I found that the sim helicopters responded way too much with rudder input at speed.
I tried all 3 types - but I did find that once at anything above crawling pace it would swing (yaw) very quickly, but it would stop after around 70° and go no further until the speed had reduced to not much above a hover.
To my amazement, when I tested the same in an Mi-17 (I have the 'rearmed' install and can fly the ones in ArmA 2 CO) which is supposedly not up to the sim spec of the TKOH machines, it reacted exactly as I would expect. Once you get the speed up, it is very reluctant to respond to the pedals - just a few degrees is all you get and rather sluggishly at that.
So it wouldn't seem to be down to pedal sensitivity.
Hope that helps
