I'm trying to rehab a damaged Cougar that I bought through Amazon.
I noted that the throttle isn't holding position. Once you advance the throttle past midway it moves to 100%.
Tightening the adjustment dial helps but isn't enough to allow the throttle to maintain the setting you place it at.
Anyone have cures, links to fix-it's?
Does anyone know, has the public ever had access to any Thrustmaster product repair manuals, part lists, schematics etc?

Thanks in Advance,

Jon

I posted a "repair" suggestion in your other post. Might be a good idea to keep things centralized in one thread to prevent people from looking all over, and helps those who are making suggestions from posting all over the place.

Sorry, I must have missed the description of the repair of throttle . I thought that since I was addressing a different issue I should do so under a different header.

Well, the other post's title suits it just fine, and if you are going to refurb this unit, might as well do it in one thread rather than have one thread for the stick, another for the throttle, another for a button, another for the PCB, etc. etc. Just my 2 cents anyway. Would be easy to review as well later.

Check out your other thread, my last post there... hope that helps!
