Definitely a cool concept, but too flashy for me. Plus, the thing is useless for anything else. I'll take a regular pickup & boat trailer. smile

pretty impressive, not practical perhaps, but worth it to see reactions. I remember the first amphibian car I saw as a kid. I just drove right into the water!

My wife worked at a marina on the Detroit River, the 'Pier 500', for 15 years, and I played around part time for the owner, drove a 32' Scarab, towing stranded boats, 'Marine Emergency Service'....Still got my tee-shirt.
I've owned 2 sailboats, my older brother has owned 3, and sailed to the Caribbean, lived on his sailboat for 10 years. I sent him a link to that video.

But...we've 'never', ever, seen anything even close to that!

But being around marina's most of my life.....it doesn't surprise me.....lol.
The nature of the beast....they spend like drunken sailors.
Cause they got it, no harm done... biggrin ...great video Bill.

Cool video and with a surprising twist...

For me I would have chosen a cooler vehicle than a van as the basis for this... it's like seeing a van limousine, but I'm probably ruined by Seinfeld ( 'If this vans a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'.).
