Did anyone catch this new series start on Channel 4 on Tuesday? Was very good and different http://www.channel4.com/programmes/utopia/episode-guide/series-1/episode-1When five strangers from an online comic book forum agree to meet after gaining possession of the original manuscript for the cult graphic novel 'The Utopia Experiments', they find themselves pursued by a shadowy organisation known as The Network who are in pursuit of the manuscript - and they are prepared to kill to track it down.
While three of the forum members - Ian, Becky and Wilson meet in the pub, another is confronted and killed by two Network henchmen. The only witness to the murder is 11-year-old Grant - the fifth forum member - and when he flees with the manuscript, the henchmen give chase.
Ian and Becky soon find they've been set-up for crimes they haven't committed, while Wilson's hacking skills attract the attention of Network henchmen Arby and Lee. As the trio's lives begin to fracture, the world of civil servant Michael Dugdale is also torn apart as he is blackmailed by The Network.
Just as things are looking increasingly desperate for Ian, Becky and Wilson, they come face to face with an enigmatic stranger who claims to offer them a way out... If you can get 'hold of it' outside the US I would recommend it.

I ran across this online and checked it out. Totally sucked me in with a single episode! If they can keep it up this is going to be a hell of a show.

Is Channel 4 actually on channel 4 for you? Crazy if its not lol. Yes it is and 5 is on 5! It goes BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 are the terrestrial channels and then loads of BBC3/4, ITV2/3/HD etc on cable/sat/freeview etc.

See, we don't do things that simple here, although that's historically how we talk about tv channels. Once you cross into another county or cable service, or satellite service, all the channel numbers change and all communication is now impossible since no one remembers the actual name of the channel. LOL Even then Directv will shuffle channel numbers around sometimes.
