What about "scruffy looking nerf herder" from Empire Strikes Back? Would that be considered cursing in the Star Wars universe? Nobody curses in the SW universe, as proven in the bar scene: "Mos Eisley Spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Who don't say a single curse word, even when threatening your life or when you cut off an arm. LOL Excellent translation JAMF! LOL

In the SW novels and comics they swear, but it's all silly stuff like "Sithspawn" or "Stang" or whatever.
Unlike the ones from these SF shows, you'd never ACTUALLY say them.

Gotta admit, I don't think I've ever seen Red Dwarf. Might have seen an episode somewhere, but being a comedy didn't give it a chance.

Gotta admit, I don't think I've ever seen Red Dwarf. Might have seen an episode somewhere, but being a comedy didn't give it a chance. Then acquire yourself a deck of DVDs and sit down for a great exploration of some quite clever humour. There must be about 40 hours or so by now. With extras, the '06 box set clocks in at 52 hours, and there are two further series since then.
