Some shots from yesterday evening's flying, pics are from the Separatist Aggression mission.
All pilots are from the GSPB, a German gaming forum, my "other" virtual home.
Rush hour at Senaki AF. Honestly, seeing so many human-piloted A-10s lining up on the runway warms this old simmer's heart. Who says hardcore flightsims are dead?
Take off! With (among other stuff) 2x 2000lb bombs I (A-10 on the right) barely manage to get off the ground before the end of the runway.
And then there are those who need a fuel fuel load...
Enroute to target. Hint: if your AoA warning tone is driving you mad, switching on pitot heat helps...
Some call it aggressive negotiation... some call it madness. Anyway, he survived the maneuver.
Meanwhile our Blackshark pilots started cleaning out the frontline:
And yes, we had two of them.
Finally found myself a target for my Mavericks:
Rifle!
Well... actually it was more like weapon launch, followed by a bunch of frantic "Oh my god! Missile launch!!!" calls, followed by "Uhm...'rifle!' guys...I mean...it was me. Ugh."
Oh, a Shilka! Shiny!
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRB!!
Then we set up the mother of all strafing runs:
LaMagra from the South
Nirvi from the West
Yours truly from the South-West:
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRB!
The pic really doesn't do the carnage wrought justice
Two breaking off
One finishing the left-overs
Missile evasion
Textbook bombing
Bigbaddboom
Taps refueling without a single disconnect. Bastage!
Safe landing. With the master caution alarm form fuel coming on as I touch down
A great mission, we had tons of fun. Also very nice to see that we still get new guys interested in this fantastic sim.
Added a small video. Nothing spectacular, just some quick fooling around with MS Movie maker.

Nope, missile didn't detonate. But then the missiles (a Tunguska had fired two at him) behaved somewhat strange anyway, doing loopings and trying to reacquire targets. The Sa-18 that hit him 10 minutes later did explode though.
