Thank you Juri for the news. Have you guys managed to fix the problem of poor randomization of the missions (I mean the same mission being generated over and over again)? From testing the new DGen I have the feeling that randomization is working a little bit better now. But it is a complex topic. Sometimes the problem of always flying the same mission is not so much caused by DGen, but by the poor design of the red and blue map template files. On some maps there are too few targets or they are placed at the wrong locations and will not be recognized by DGen. Moreover Asura has discovered that some mission types were never correctly implemented into DGen, that's the reason why they are never created, even when they appear in the ops files. The improvement of mission generation in DGen will be a long term process. Some issues will already be fixed in the first official release of the new DGen, but other improvements will need more time and will be added in later versions.

Great news, Juri, thank you. Is there any chance we see Bessarabia and/or Slovakia maps incorporated into the new DGen? By the way, DT has just revealed that, let me quote, "On the way is Central Tunisia map with new desert buildings and trees" http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=29249&page=35

As a matter of fact, yes Thank you. Is your Solomons campaign downloadable somewhere? By the way, looks like there's a major improvement in randomization of Pacific missions. I tested first three missions of two different campaigns and every time came up with a different mission (or a different localization). Great work!

Love the way you guys just keep this SIM going....like an Energizer bunny. A decade and 2 rigs, with one game. My thanks.

By the way, unfortunatly at the moment there are some issues in the current version of Asura's DGen, that can cause problems in my Solomons campaigns. I hope this will be fixed in DGen 2.0. Asura did release version 2.0.0.1 of the new DGen less than a week ago. Look here: Asura's new Dgen v2.0.0.1 Cheers!
