The weather started off good, but got worse, then a little better, as I think the photos will show. It's a pretty impressive show, and worth the drive from San Diego to Las Vegas.

I can't say mine look anything spectacular. Not exactly sure why they came out looking like they did, complete garbage. Oh well I'll write it off as a photographers worst day x2 and try again next time.

Dave, thanks! It was a good show. Last year was the first time they did flare firings and it caught me off guard. This year I was watching for it, and did a little better getting photos of it, but not much. The wind caused the aircraft to reverse the direction they've used the past few times for takeoffs, so I missed some other shots as well.
