Heh, there's no nasty suprises like mines hiding around the ninth hole are there?
There's some nice rolling hills you made there.

That Farrow bloke you executed today, are you sure he's dead?
Well I chopped his head off, that usually does the trick.
Yes, don't get clever with me Baldrick. I just thought you might have lopped off a leg or something by mistake.
No, the thing I chopped off had a nose.

Still VARY early. Only concerned about the land mass and road/rail routes now. Flora is all wrong and will have to be made later as well as correct regional buildings. And of course some new land textures.

Not vary exciting shot with just temp grass and roads/paths layed down. No legit brush left. Soon I hope to get that in.

Early screen of some of the back roads.

If that is a golf course, you need to sack your groundskeeper.

Campaign we hope. We will see. But do not expect to see anything for at least another 6 months. LOTS to do! DUH, yes apos or GTOS or whatever the name ends up being.

Another Vary early render of mountains I just rendered DUE west of longstop hill. Historically the British where dug in around here to prevent a flanking attack by Germans. Obviously its just grass and a mountain now. Theres a little town up here and of course it needs the right plants. But I do beleave this is APOS's 1st mountain. biggrin

Awesome! thumbsup I hope you can use the terrain in any of the Graviteam's games.

I also noticed an Operations Editor in the install of APOS. You can make your own campaigns I think...
Been browsing the internet but have not found any players made new campaigns with this tool.
Not surprised as it looks very complicated to work with.

For APOS....not really any full campaigns that I know of by end users. In sabow the only guy that made any appears to be only me. Same editor. Honestly its not that hard at all. But people get all tripped up setting up Divpool file. I wrote some how toos way back in apos forum on graviteam sight.

Conversion? No, Addition. Longstop hill/christmas hill was an area of Tunisia fought over by the British, US, and Germans in Dec 42 and later April 43. Also some Frenchmen that finally decided what side to be on at one point. They fought hard but had crap for equipment only having weapons from before the fall of France and it appears a few tanks they hid from Germans. Not sure about that one.

AS funny as having Red Army t34 driving around would be hmmm no. So AT least US infantry and assorted arms. Hopefully British as well. Still in early stages. Finalizing land form now for area. THen comes all the things it needs (textures, trees, bushes, building, rocks (lol). Then theres all the small arms. Right now its just a quarter complete m1903a3 rifle. biggrin early. An unlike all these vary odd games of recent days that make everyone think Tunisia is one BIG freaken desert.........shock its NOT. This area was grass covered year round and in winter turns a vary nice green color.

REally need British soldier model to represent the Cold Stream guard. But time will tell. Its a big project. And yes APOS needs to go WEST I say. Although I like EAST part too. Eh varity is the spice of life right?

Main German force was 5th panzer. These guys WHERE NOT africa corp!. They where reinforcements still in field grey that came via Italy accross the Med. But many Vets from Eastern Front in the ranks. Some recent unnamed games do wierd things with history.

The only battle I have a real interest in in the West is Monte Casino and Crete to be honest. Still will be interesting to see how it turns out. I'm sure many want this game engine with US and British\Commonwealth troops...good luck.
