I am selling my Uber Cougar for $250 OBO. It has less than 100 hours on it. The castle switch is broken off, otherwise this stick is in fantastic shape. My son broke it off when he was cleaning his room (a miracle in itself ) I haven't used it since I bought it from CRASH, the former owner of this site. He used it as a backup so under 100 hours is an understatement, prolly more like less than 50 hours. Buyer pays shipping.

Are replacement castle switches available?
I'm not familiar with the "uber" part of the cougar.

If Guillemot/Thrustmaster doesn't have any Cougar castle switches left over (which I highly doubt), and all you need to replace is the cap/shaft part (meaning the switches are still intact), then there's a guy named Casual who sells replacement hat switch caps and paddle switches (that feel much nicer than the original). Realistic size (slightly smaller) or Cougar size, your choice.

Still, I'd contact TM support, since I'm pretty sure they still have parts. You'll have to pay a dollar for each part along with shipping, IIRC.

The Uber Cougar is a gimbal mod; the originals were remachined original Cougar gimbals, if I'm not mistaken. Thus, I'd expect the same feel, but out of much sturdier metal than the original stuff. It wasn't until the Uber-2 and U2-NXT that it became more of an original gimbal design.

And if I had the funds, I'd buy it...one step closer to having my modded-to-the-gills Cougar back.
