..but the economy is kind of sucking right now. I dropped $73 on the Ultra Upgrade a little over a week ago, and while I don't regret the purchase at all it was a pretty decent chunk of money for a single game. I would like to continue to support 777 by purchasing the extra upgrades but I can't help but wonder if a Christmas-type sale is in the wings (pardon the pun). Any prior history of Christmas sales?

If not, I'll temper my ROF purchases in the next few days in an effort to stay within my budget.

There are sales that occur, I couldn't tell you if there will be one for Christmas but there's always a chance. I'd venture a guess at a good chance of one.

777 has regular sales, for major holidays and other events like major updates or anniversaries of the game's release. When, what, and how much are never known in advance (other than preorders are never on sale), but there's always one coming at some point if you can wait.

Having spent that much at once, I would certainly wait for one before I got more, unless it's something you don't want to wait for of course.
