I am so close to buying this one,- liked "Wick vs Dundas".
Very interested in the Course Calculator and the 6 printable Maps of Combat Areas. Please respond with your opinion on this add-on.

For the offline CloD player I really think Desastersofts Wick v Dundas and Adolf Galland have injected new life into the sim. Some of the missions actually feel like a campaign to me and the random elements they've included make replayability high. Beautifully done and worth every penny IMO.
Not forgetting yours and others fine efforts as well Heinkill! Look forward to the review.
If the modders can get their teeth into the code and repair some of the niggles for offliners (ie radio messaging) then I'll be sticking with CloD for a very long time.
I'm also looking forward to the release of 2.12 for BoBII.

I'm also looking forward to the release of 2.12 for BoBII. BDG is building the 2.12 installer right now... there will be lots of Battle of Britain sim goodness for the new year.

Thanks for the PM.
It looks like a little After-Christmas gift to myself.

It may take me a while, I'm not finished with "Wick vs Dundas" yet. But sometime in january, I will put my goggles on and fly like Adolf on my new 27" monitor in 2.560 x 1.440. With almost 80% more pixels than a standard 1.920 x 1.080, all my games has got a real lift and looks amazing! Anyway, happy gaming in the dark time here in Denmark Cheers,

Tell me about it! We got back from the in-laws place in Jutland last night, and I had (stupidly) put the heating on 'winter holiday' mode before we left. It was colder inside the house than it was outside! My better half went mental at me. Lost all my Christmas bonus points in one fell swoop. I'm from Australia, what do I know about winter?

I guess we got the Australian weather this year. About 18 degrees at x-mas. I'm interested too in your review. But I can wait. A self knit scarf would be a great present for your wife. I guess...

Heinkil, Thanks for the review and info about "course calculator". Seens like a copy of the german "flight computer", intriguing is the disk labeled "wind...". Will be that we need to calculate "wind triangle"? Has another disk to make IAS to TAS conversion? Sokol1

Yes. As mentioned in the review Dsoft are hard core. In bombers though you can use the course autopilot and max game speed. http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=24782In fighters I use the map frequently and 4x speed in game so that I can still control the heading. H
