Just loaded my local copy. Hellava buy for $10 USD IMO. The landing mission is worth it alone just to try and reach the beach, miss the explosions, cut the wires, and get the machine guns.

I think we should probably keep the 100% Iron Front basic package for the first part of the Saturday events, then switch over to D-Day during the second hour until plenty have D-Day. That way nobody will be shut out. What do you think guys?

There's plenty to still available to fight over on the Eastern Front.

I think that we should start the expansion missions once those that remain in the lobby all have the expansion.

Slowly we'll be able to mix and match throughout the event. There's still so much play in the base game as Saghen stated. There are still some epic battles and covert missions to take place on the Eastern front.

This game deserves so much more attention from the gaming community than it is receiving, and not the constant slating of it. I'm just happy that we have a great little group whom all enjoy Iron Front very much.

Anyway enough mush, where did I park my T34?

As Tigerwolf said ... I cant understand why everyone slates this game... fair enough it did have one or two probs to begin with ... (pumpkin heads being the worst) but have we on a saturday night ever come across a game breaking problem. Now the dev's have got their legal problems out of the way it has gone really well, first the patch now the dlc and I just read on the forums, from one of the devs about the 1.06 patch (with something called Ambient Combat Module or ACM not sure exactly what it is but sounds like a random battle generator)

It is a great game, I just wish there were more servers up and running, nothing with a respectable ping from down here in OZ!

You should give our Saturday (Sunday for you) gameplay a go. 4PM Eastern US time is 5 in the morning in Perth, if I'm not wrong. Granted, you'd have to get up fairly early. We have a player from Australia who plays regularly in Iron Front and in our SimHQ motorsports. He doesn't have a bad ping.

Provided that you want to be up at 5AM on a Sunday morning, why not join us and see if it's playable for you?

I installed D-Day earlier in the afternoon, wow it's some fantastic looking stuff. Can't wait to run it.
