Sup fellas! Here's an old ERTL circa 1990s model X-Wing I built many moons ago that I thought I'd show off. The model is about 12" long from nose to tail.

Sweet! I want one! Too bad that today the only X-wing model on the market is Revell Easykit

I wish I could paint better than a drunken sailor, some of these models look absolutely brilliant!

Nice build! I built one in the '80s that I like, but alas, it did not survive. I have a couple of the old MPC kits in my garage, plus the Fine Molds kit, if I ever get around to building them. I even have two of the larger motorized kits sitting there as well.

Its' pricey, but Fine Molds makes a very nice 1/48 scale kit (and 1/72nd, too):

Nice work on that kit.It always gave me fits.. and the Fine Molds kits are a little more accurate to the original Resin ships...I finished one a couple of years ago..in this thread: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3035210.html

They weather nicely.

Thanks Whitehead! I was 15 yrs. old when I built and painted this model. I really had no idea what I was doing, having only a few magazine pictures of ILM models for reference. However, in the end, it came out pretty good!
