We moved an A-10 trainer from our flight line to our Heritage Park the other day. No way to tow it...let's grab some CH-47 Hooker love....

I can't tell from that distance, but were the gun and engines still in it ie was it a normal empty A-10 or stripped?

The Jedi Master

Stripped of nearly everything internally. Engines are gone...just has a piece of sheet metal with fan blades painted on it to look like engines. It has the gun barrel section of the gun (old barrels) but no ammo drum. Stripped down that Hog weighed in at around 19,000lbs compared to normal empty weight of 29,000lbs.
