Noted on the upward-firing Lewis. I'm subscribed to Requiem's channel on Youtube, and I've seen his tutorial on attacking two-seaters. My only problem is configuring a button to just fire overwing guns. I have a
Logitech Extreme 3d Pro, so if anyone else has the same joystick, I'd be more than grateful for any feedback on button-mapping.
As for the Roland, no, I haven't pre-ordered it yet, only because two-seaters aren't exactly my forte. I do have an active RE8 career, but that's just for fun and more so to see if I can survive the fighter attacks. If the Aviatik or Taube come out, (or the 1 1/2 Strutter, Be2c, or Fe2b, all of which I've been screaming for) I'll be more excited that I have realistic early-war Spandau fodder for my E.III and Albatros D.II than anything. I love the whole war (not to say I love war, but as in for this game) but the early part still needs to be majorly fleshed out. I have 97 kills in my Jasta 11 career as of February 1917, and I started at the earliest possible date, and I didn't shoot down a two-seater until maybe October 1916, and that was an Re8. My kill list should be chock-full of Be2's and Fe2's by now. I've got mostly Nieuport 17's DH2's, along with about 7 or 8 RE8's, and a single Nieuport 11 (my first kill in that career). Yeah, the early war really need more life to it.
But, the ranting aside, I think this is a step in the right direction. Now bring on the Morane Bullets, Bristol Scouts, and Gunbuses!!!
