I can't find patches for sabow on GG. Do I need to register?

If I do this, how about my saved games?

I do not want to lose them.

By the way, what is the advantage of this new format?

For SABOW, we can't officially release patches. May be publisher will be release it once.
On GG only for APOS now.

I ask because i have problem with correct installing update and patch. During installation was error (my antivir blocked one process) and now i cannot uninstall core update. I suppose this error can't allow me to install lastest patch.
Whether the new format can fix this error?

Has the various DLC content changed or just the new install format? I still see Blau as version 1.09 after the latest download exe from gamers gate.

I have re-downloaded the APOS DLCs "Sokolovo 1943" and "Volokonovka 1942" and they seem to be the same that we had prior to the August patch.

Actually they are NOT in the new format ".gt2extension". They are in the old format where you have to unpack the DLC prior to installing it and then you have to select the "CORE\desc.addpack" file in the folder with unpacked update to install it.

Is this right ????

Why is necessary redownload? a part the format, something other change in term of gameplay or graphic, and it is better do a new install?

As you want. the only difference is in the package, now in one zip-file
