Some posters on another website are saying that they can't access SimHQ today (Nov 5th) and are instead taken to a site called register dot com instead.

Anyone know what's going on?

I had the same problem for a while today, the website stated that the domain had expired and was in some kind of a "cool down"-period.

I'm ok (obviously) but poor old Mace can't get in.
He says 'hi' but I guess he needs his daily SimHQ fix.
He's getting quite anxious as I talk to him via Steam chat. biggrin

I haven't had any issues today since I first checked SimHQ around 8:00 AM EDT.

Was there a server change? Sounds like a routing issue. If so, it should take care of itself pretty soon as the location populates.
Might try flushing DNS.
At command prompt (at "run", type CMD and enter):
ipconfig /flushdns
and enter.
Try the site again. Probably take care of itself in time though.

I'm getting rerouted too. I switched browsers and was able to get in but IE doesn't work quite right either.

Same thing here...only lasted less than 10 minutes though. Mildly alarming, to say the least. wink

Couldn't get onto SimHQ for the last couple of hours. Happy the site is back again.

Phew, no kill switch on SimHQ wohoo.

Same here. Got it to.
Thought for a sec that you guys had posted a large size pic of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the homepage.

Cheers,
