Just broke the 1 million cbill mark last night. It took 12 matches so I figure another 12'ish and I can get me a freshly painted commando or hold of for another 12 to get the jenner. I may go ahead and get the commando so I can start getting exp. It would be nice if we could sell old mechs...like an exchange.

You can sell owned mechs with or without their loadout, but not for what you paid. Can't sell the trial mechs though of course. You can also sell off equipment in your inventory that's unused. After a while you end up with a stockpile of guns and engines. Hit the inventory number and they expand and drop down. Click once and you get the sell button. You're stuck with ammo, and if you add double heatsinks and armor or endoskeleton upgrades, you can't get that back. Once you're in your own mech, you'll start paying for ammo and repairs. It's still kind of a toss up if it's better to go with your own light mech and take that on, or endure the trial mechs longer. You might compromise and shoot for a Raven as the first. Once you buy one, you can't help but spend $$$ customizing it.

I bought a Catapult with some of my founders money, always liked the look of those kind of mechs rather than the 'humanoid' ones.

After the reset, the MC was reset again. I wonder if that happens again when the game launches? Right now I'm just using the founders atlas, but I'd like a cat or awesome again. Earning money is kind of slow going. I don't want to spend the "real" money and be short when the game launches and resets again. I love the atlas, but it's like painting a big bullseye on your chest. Everyone wants to take you out first. LOL

played 30mins and made 350000 with the Trial's Awsome. Will save for a med. People complains that it's too long to buy a mech, but at that rate you can buy a light after about 3 hours.... However, I don't know how much would it cost per game to repair/reload your mech...

There won't be anymore MC resets. If you spend it now it's gone. The only 'reset' left will be in a couple weeks for premium time. If you have founder premium time, you are currently on 'free time' right now. It will be reset in a couple weeks, but not start being used. Everyone will have an option to click a button to start the timer on their premium time. Debating spending some MC on a Dragon

Like Mojo said, no more CB or MC resets.
I've played 8 matches since Monday and am at ~680,000 CB. Once I get my first 2.5M CB, I'm gonna get a Raven 4X again. I know I'm in a minority, but that was my ride of choice during the last month or so of beta. That chasis is just so versatile. Make it quick and load TAG or Narc, or load it will SRM and MLAS, or drop an AC2 on there, etc... All builds a jumpjet capable (to some extent). As long as you don't run an XL engine, you make more than a trial mech in it.
After that, I'll save up for a medium or heavy. I'll decide when I get there.

To tell you the truth, I don't really know what chassis I want to run. The idea of being a duck and scoot recon, lighting people up for the lrm boats sounds appealing but I don't know if the maps are really big enough to make this effective. Right now you see a lot of light mechs running with impunity around the assaults but I'm guessing when collisions are brought back this will stop. I think I will ultimately go with a heavy. I think of myself in a support role but I tend to get drawn into brawls. On a side note, I have continued my quest to make money driving a trial centurion. Last night I finally achieved 2 kills and 453 damage (a centurion and a wang) S

I actually like to switch back and forth. My two favourite chassis are the Jenner and Dragon.
Takes me a match or two to adjust when I switch though, different mindset needed for piloting each.
Another reminder to anyone. If you are going to do some matches and want to meet up with some SimHQ people, join our TS server. If there isn't a Mechwarrior subchannnel, then create one and join it. This will just be a temporary channel, until/unless an admin creates a permanent one (hint hint). Then you can join other TS servers in additional tabs (right clicking the bookmark).
So, I will join the SimHQ TS server, then get into one of the community TS servers for MWO. That way, if a SimHQ member comes online, they can see me on the SimHQ TS, and talk to me, so I can let them know where to meet up.
If you do talk to someone in the SimHQ TS, and their mike is muted (ie. they are live on another TS Server), just give them a minute to answer you back if they are in match.
Looking forward to getting into more groups with everyone.
