Looks like the Giants are running away with this one. I have a feeling though that this wil be one of the worst rated World Series for the past few years. No one cares about the Tigers outside of Michigan and San Francisco isn't really that big of a baseball market.

#OrangeAndBlack here for life. It has been a crazy postseason for the Giants, having to win 3 straight in both the NLDS and NLCS. Compared to 2010 'torture' of close games, I hope the Giants win and blow out the Tigers. In the last 4 postseason games, the Giants have outscored their opponents 28-4.
The talk of Verlander reminds me of the 2010 World Series. Cliff Lee this, Cliff Lee that. It ended up being Cliff Lee who?

As a Giants fan myself, watching your rival peeves you for these 2 reasons this year: 1) The rivalry (a given) 2) Dodgers front office making a huge trade in late August, having it backfire, and the Giants walking away with the division 8 games over.

That's because mainstream sports media are biased to East Coast teams, especially the Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, and Braves. Those teams could be in DEAD last and they will still get the majority of prime time tv coverage. The same can be said about football and basketball.
Born in Los Angeles, San Francisco is my adopted home.
San Francisco is turning into a Bridge and Tunnel bro/d-bag town as it coincides with Bay Area sports teams. Most of the people you see in this video are probably from the surrounding suburbs who crowd into every possible nook and cranny screaming "*@$%#! let's go Giants!
I don't remember women being so lame, either- they dress like the dudes in branded Giants/A's/49er's/Northface ballcaps and jerseys, what they lack is any sense of style or personality.
I miss the edgy, gritty character of some of the neighborhoods as these toads are squeezing out any last places to go to get away from Spring Break.

Yeah, that stung. I don't think they had enough time to gel together to make a difference. It's hard to bring in that many talented players that late in the season and hope they everything clicks instantly. Ah well, there's always next year...
I'm still sore about the OUTFIELD FLY RULE called in the wild card game and will be for the rest of my life. And I'm still sore about Kent Hrbek pulling Ron Gant off first in the 91 Series.

This was a very bad year for me with baseball but at least the Yankees got swept by the Tigers so that's some minor consolation.

And the Giants complete the sweep of the Tigers.
YAWN.
