Lol, I get what you're saying but I meant are you at least slightly hinted at being promised of getting it on 2/10? Or is it going to be SHIPPED to you in 2/10?
I noticed there's an ebook and an enhanced ebook version as well... hmmm.... nah, I'll get the paperback-dead-tree-version....
Just did a search on Amazon and I wonder if any other books are worth picking up? Eye of the Viper looked good but then reading the reviews... The modern Viper guide seems awesome, but I wonder how it reads, might be too technical for me. Any suggestions? I already have Vipers in the Storm and liked it.

EDIT: Anyone know where it states the additional features available on the enhanced ebook? I wonder if this'll be like Vipers in the Storm wherein we can view those extra material in some website... would be a bummer to miss the extra goodies simply because of buying a dead-tree version.

Ice, thanks for the heads up on this book. It was in my mailbox when I went home for lunch; I read the prolog. Outstanding! Very well written and super easy to read. The descriptions are very good -- my mind's eye had no trouble seeing everything he was describing. Can't wait to get home and read more tonight!

BTW, downloaded the enhanced eBook version and it's quite cool --- has pics and videos and sometimes there will be a blue/purple text in the book, click it and it'll open a pic. On the sample it's just a pic of the F-16 cockpit and a pic of the Maverick missile, so I am quite excited to see what the full enhanced ebook will contain.
Probably gonna buy two versions of this book then, a dead-tree version and the enhanced ebook.

No idea, but seems to be. So far not yet released on iBooks.
How big is the dead-tree version? And where did you order from? Amazon UK says Oct 20 release date here... bummer. At least I'll get the enhanced ebook in a few hours.

Finished it. Good read ... it left me wanting more mission briefings/AARs from additional missions not mentioned in the book. Now I'm looking to purchase "Vipers in the Storm".

This book sounds great. I loved Vipers in the Storm, so I'd better grab this one.

I too finished the book, read it in three days! LOL
Very good book, a must read for every Falcon 4 AF and BMS jockey! I felt like I was right with him when reading the passages about some of his more intense wild weasel missions. Man, how he never got shot down by a SAM or AAA is beyond me. A testament to his flying skill and SA for sure!
Some parts, near the end of the book, were a little too "AMERICA..F$%K YA!" for me, but I understand his point. I do agree with him that UAV's are not suited to WW missions and that the term "warrior" has been bandied about too easily. I have greater respect for the men and women who do the real thing and allow me to simulate it. No matter how "realistic" the missions in the simulator, I can now understand how much more complex they really are and how much planning and SA goes into them.
Highly recommended! If they ever make "Art Of The Kill: Wild Weasel Edition" he should defineately be the one to host it. I'd be in the front row for sure! Would be an honor to meet him in person too.
