Not much I can tell you. I don't think it sold too well, I can't remember its name, not sure if it was sandbox or not.
It was a space game (not sure if it had newt' physics or planetary descent) and once you disabled the ship you could board and raid it in an FPS style shooter.
I do know that people complained about the enemy ship always self destructing once boarding giving you limited time on board.
That is all I know, any help appreciated.

Parkan 2 had ship boarding like that and FPS ground action. I don't think I could ever play it for more than 10 minutes though, it was just kind of dull. Seems like I've heard of another game with boarding though.

Was this possible in Derek Smarts Battlecruiser series? Not that I suggest you play it of course.Unless you have a need to get very very frustrated.

Actually, i just read a review on "out of 8.com" and parkan 2 IS the game i was thinking of. Though that review and others ties up to what you said Raw Krypto'. So i will give it a miss. But at least my mind can rest now, i would never have guessed the title.
Thanks again for the help.
[edit] though it would be good to have a space game that had boarding of other ships. I understand X:albion prelude has a basic one with a text screen depicting the assault of the ship and the various level and squads - but i would prefer a 3d modern environment.

I got Parkan 2 free and I'm still not sure it was worth it. LOL Nexus has ship boarding, but it's a strategy kind of game. You command a ship or fleet that carry fighters and transports. You can bring down shields and weapons on enemy ships and send your commandos over to take the ship. You only get audio reports from the ship though.

You said his NAME?!?!?

A good article of "He who should not be mentioned". Has some classic "him" bits in it followed by some surprising stuff. Clicky clicky if you want to invoke those that eat children
