Was playing a CareerB mission (singleplayer) and noticed this odd icon that showed up for several seconds in the upper right, it seemed to show a computer-computer connection. Anyone know what this means? No, I didn't take a screenshot...

Have had this a couple of weeks now, wow, great sim!

it means your connection to the server is down. just hang in there and it will re-establish contact ASAP with nothing lost to the inter-void(at least in my experience of late).

Ah, OK, thanks. I didn't realize it would be trying to stay connected all the time, even in single player 3D (though when in Career screen it is obviously connected).

When it happens (rarely though) i finish my mission (land back), and if it is still there, i pause and alt-tab the sim. Then i launch Google with any site, and close the navigator right after. Back in ROF, i unpause and usually the icons are gone and can finish the mission.

If icon still here, i redo again untill the icon is gone. It works 99% of time here!

Right, guess that would mess up the career progression if it couldn't connect.

If you finish the mission with the little icon on, for sure no result would be saved on master server...and next time you'll have to refly it.
Everything is transiting via master server. Each SP single mission is generated by master server...

Interesting. I noticed that little icon popping up from time to time. Good to know.
