"Eraserhead" supposedly a David Lynch masterpiece according to friends who hyped it up and I absolutely hated every minute of it... even for an art house film, I just don't get it.

Lies And Illusions (2010; Christian Slater, Cuba Gooding Jr.) is quite possibly the worst 'mainstream' movie ever made. For all I know it never saw theatrical release and went straight to DVD. I watched it all the way through, first with hopes that the rapidly sagging plot, story and action would be redeemed in the third act, but then simply because the film was so deplorable that it was unintentionally funny. "Batman & Robin"
Yes, I was one of the unlucky ones who actually paid to see this schlock in the movie theatre. You know, the Tim Burton Batman films had some campiness to them but it paled in comparison to what was in "Batman & Robin". It's easily one of the absolute worst comic book films I've ever seen. While the film seemed to have killed the career of Alicia Silverstone it didn't slow down George Clooney one bit! Lol, a friend of mine could have been Robin. According to him and his girlfriend at the time, when they were initially casting for the Robin character, the sequel that Chris O'Donnell was introduced as Robin, a casting director had asked him if he wanted to audition for the part. At the time my friend was still pretty ripped from working out and who still is somewhat short worked at a law firm in Studio City and was out for lunch with his girlfriend. He said he noticed a guy looking him over up and down and really checking him out which made him more than a little uncomfortable. When he confronted him about it the guy told him that they were looking for a small buff guy to play the part of Robin in a Batman movie and would he be interested in auditioning for the part. Wheels

Nothing will ever top the disappointment and genuine loss I felt as I left the midnight screening of The Phantom Menace. What a stupid, stupid movie. The other prequels weren't any better, but at least by then my expectations were in check. I can't imagine hating anything more than the prequels and TPM was the worst emotional hit of the three. This describes my and my friends reaction to Phantom Menace perfectly. We managed to snatch first day tickets in a english language cinema close to Ramstein air base and our expectations were huge. Then came Jar Jar Binks. I wouldn't call it hate but the only movie where I actually left the cinema before the end was "The Saint" with Val Kilmer. Atrocious flick.

The Phantom Menace. By far. What utter crap, and a huge disappointment. In recent times, "Drive" with Ryan Gosling. Total waste of time, horrible story and characters. Kept thinking it would have a pay off, but it just continued to get worse and worse. Whaaaa..?! This is one of the better movies I've seen in recent years
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Any Kevin Costner film, especially Dances with Wolves. 13 Days, too? A great movie, even if you don't like Kevin Costner. You can't fault Bruce Greenwood's and Steven Culp's performances in that movie, as JF and Bobby Kennedy.

The Upham scene? That's painful! It seems The Phantom Menace is overwhelmingly the most hated movie of all time

"U-571" This is such blown-up patriotic supercrap i am not sure whether the alphabet offers enough letters with a Z, for that film. From american [sic!] sailors building a german-looking submarine from a sugar boat (what?) to capture the Enigma (BS! - english sailors did) to the 60-year old propaganda of german U-boaz crews gunning down shipwrecked in the water (BS!).
+1 And yes, I also watched this crap in the movie theatre.

I'm having trouble picking just one out,you guys have named so many deserving candidates.
I refused to watch U-571,so I am going to name Pearl Harbour also, although Inception came close.
